Talk / Life / Fatherhood / Comforting sounds...

I sit here listening to the sounds in my home... my wife fast asleep yet moving just slightly, my son also fast asleep but moving around enough in a metal framed bed to let me know he's there.

All such comforting sounds... anyone else have such things?

They both make me smile and think I should be in bed too but while I hear them, I'm happy.

You know... I had a CAT scan yesterday... had chronic headaches for about 9 days and the GP thought I had to get checked...

Anyway,,, I had the CAT at 15:00 and they said I would get the results in about two hours.......... THE longest two hours of my life...

What would you think of?

I made comments about another poster that weren't appropriate ... can't win em all..

The CAT and stuff has worried me... f*cking head is still hurting like hell but it's only benign so I'll live... The Codeine based tabs are really powerful though....

I had the lynch mob after me earlier today too. As you said, cant win em all...

At least they have said you're fine. I suffer from migraine to the point that I go particially blind. Are you alright to mix those codeine with Jim Beam ;-)

OH poor Noffles!

so sorry yuou've had all that anxiety about your poor old head and I'm glad that you've had some reassuring news although it doesn't help your noggin :-(

reassuring noise....... I used to think there was no such thing as I was very hung up on sleep, being a night worker..... but I think the sounds of distant aeroplanes and lawn mowers are lovely along with the smell of grass.. likewise, distant children playing ( not one's own because that would imply responsibility) and the sea.
