Over what time period was this Apple? I just ask because it seems a very serious amount for post work 5-11pm drinking on a Monday night!
Pints of what, just out of interest? If I have a pint I'll either have cider or premium lager (don't like the weak/watery stuff) and 4 pints would see me absolutely bladdered.
I don't think I could injest any more than that, I'd never be out the loo! :-D
Mon - 2 or 3 pints, it's Soaps all night on TV, I go to the ale house
Tue - 2 or 3 pints
Wed - 2 or 3 G&T's
Thur - 2 or 3 pints and maybe 2 G&T's
Fri - 7 or 8 pints 5 or 6 G&T's
Sat - Could be a heavy one, the numbers are in the 10's for both
Sun - A quiet one 2 or 3 pints
But that wouldn't be every week the same that would be a higher than normal average.... I fancy a G&T now... =)

The Monday night was from 5:30- 03:00 as it ended up in a bit of a bender. I'm drinking cider at the moment. :-) I was kinda drunk after 10, but still at the communicating relatively normaly stage.
To be fair, the drink limits for men and women are kinda a stab in the dark figure. I've read around this subject and so I don't take a great deal of notice of the units reccomendation.
I wasn't saying I do it because everyone else does or that my drinking is justified by others. I was merely stating I'm typical of many my age range.
I'd have 5 or 6 pints each friday and saturday when I am drinking normally.
Partial to the odd bottle of red too as an alternative.
But I go off the booze randomly for months sometimes.
Actually going to the pub right now for a last few scoops before I start the dozen challenge. Probably wont have another drink until graduation near end of June.

The fact that there were BOGOF deals implies a chain pub, the booze is always cheaper there.
When I do go out, I end up with 3-4 alcopops in one night, once a fortnight, mixed up with watered-down pub Coke, so it all depends how many units are in a bottle of one of those (eg Smirnoff Ice).
My mates and I always try to eat at the same time though and without grub, I don't think I could even handle that!
I've just been there and done it with alcohol I think, but chain pubs or not, I don't want to spend that much dosh on booze at the moment.
