Hello all! Hope this doesn't turn out to be an essay as it's not really a massiv problem, hehe just a small dilemma!
There's this bloke who is friends with one of my best friends and he has told her that he fancies me. We were on the same night out together a couple of months ago (the one where I was dressed as a bee if anyone saw the pics!) but never actually met - I didn't even know he was there tbh.
He has since seen other pics of me on my friends facebook profile and told my friend he likes me. So I told her to tell him to request me, we send a couple of messages back and forth on there and end up swapping numbers.
For the last few days he's been texting me everyday, in the morning, I reply and then he replies but with a closed message - asking no questions and very difficult to text back to. (BTW I don't expect someone to want to know EVERYTHING about me and ask me lots of quesions about myself - but a general question in a text would make everything flow so much better!!)
Then I feel like I'm putting myself out trying to think of what to say next...then I finally think of something and he texts back again with another closed message - I don't get it? So it's really feeling like too much effort now, I'm not particularly bothered if nothing comes of it I just wanted to see if we'd get on really.
He's asked me out for a drink now (the only question he's asked all day might I add!) and I'm not sure - should I give him a chance and hope he's more interesting and interested in person? Or just sack it off now as it seems just too much like hard work already.

Yes, yes, yes!
Some boys are just crap at texting. My last bloke was, and I never knew what he thought! In person though we got on so well.

You haven't said if you fancied him! Have you ever spoken to him properly in person? I don't think you can judge someone based on how interesting their texts are.
He should be a real man and call you anyway! Go for a drink, get to know him and then decide after that if it's worth persuing. At least give the guy a chance. It takes a lot of balls to ask a girl out!
