Read the comments and people are not happy with whats being shown here
Any mansizers able to explain as to whats being palmed off here? - many thanks
A lot of people are quite offended by things like this. Not that people practise things like this, but that it is of no use to anyone wanting to learn a self defence or a practical fighting technique.
I'll try and find a couple of clips of 'martial artists' trying to show things like pressure points. There's one guy who claims to be able to shut your brain down with one touch. All of his students collapse when he touches them. Then they take him to a Brazillian Jiu Jitsu class and he trys that rubbish on them. Nothing happens.
There's another clip of some 'yellow lotus' practitioners practising on a beach and challenging a brazillian jiu jitsu practitioner of no great skill to touch him. He double leg take downs the lotus flower guy and arm bars him.
It's really funny. He challenges him to touch him, because when he harnesses his Chi, apparantly no-one can touch him, and this guy just charges at him, tackles him and arm bars him.
I have no problem with people practising martial arts, it's when they sell people classes saying 'Yellow lotus will protect you in street fights'. It doesn't. People should practise a form martial art for what it is. Not expect it to save them in a real life situation.

I remember this numpty in 6th form , used to do a lot of karate, he thought he was a tough guy.
He got involved in some stupid gang thing which went to beat some guy up. The victim's friend was this huge monster of a guy who stormed into the common room next day and tore into the numpty and beat the crap out of him. All the karate in the wolrd did him no good when confronted by a big angry 6' guy who used no fancy moves but just his fists!
BTW I don't consider BJJ, JJJ, Judo or Greco Roman Wrestling to be useless. I think those fighting systems have been used in real life situations to help people. Muay Thai or a striking skill combined with one of those 4 will mean you're a pretty good fighter IMO. 'Yellow lotus Dim Mak delayed punch karate' I don't consider a fighting system. More a martial art.

"Yellow lotus Dim Mak delayed punch karate" sounds more like a serious bit of food after a load of pints to me...!
I agree. Most people will never attain a level of fighting ability that makes a complex style worthwhile. Just learn to punch, kick, block and wrestle and job done you will be fine in most situations.
