It's becoming prevalent. My gym isn't massive and there certainly isn't room for this caper.
Why oh why?!
You know, a great way to stop that is to get a bunch of people together to stand there and laugh and point while they shadow box. They'll soon stop ;-)
strange Lycra top guy at one of my gyms, who goes around asking people how long they'll be on a piece of equipment, then walking around the gym staring at you between sets.

People looking at you whilst you work out is the worst! If you are waiting for a piece of equipment, stand nearby so no-one nips in front of you but you must absolutely avert your eyes.

Gym ettiquette!
I agree, I had a guy about 2 feet away from me watching my whole set of dips last week! pillock
Big greasy fella's sweating all over a bench - take a bloody towell!
Grunters - Why!?!
Middle aged ladies walking on the tredmills, whilst holding onto the sides!!!
Selfish bastards, usually come in pairs, one sits on the machine whilst his mate stands there gassing to him - these also come in individual form & I've even seen one selfish c**t use one piece of equipment & leave his water bottle on the seat of another
Chavs (in groups of 5 +) - Nuff said
People who leave barbells, dumbells, weight plates all over the place in the gym - it's like a mine field walking around the weights area
