We're taking a fresh look at every part of the board to make it easier to use - last week star ratings, this week photos. You'll have seen some of the changes already but here they are in full:

- Upload as many photos as you want

- Photo only posts (no need to type in a few random characters to get photos to submit!)

- Add photos to old posts by clicking 'Edit'

- Delete photos from posts by clicking 'Remove'

- Cleaner display of photos you've uploaded. I've added a few examples below

We've not done bulk uploading of photos yet, but that'll be here soon. We hope you like the changes - if there's anything else you'd like to see give me a shout.

Cheers,

Will

Is the size restriction, 300kb, still in place.

As i understand it you have to download picies to your hard drive first then you can upload to the MS site, what about the use of image tags (img) which are used on other forum sites that way you can post between the image tags and upload direct from the web, uploaded picies appear immediatly so i assume there's no pre assesment by MS staff ! ........................just a thought

what would be good is the ability to choose where in the post the pictures go, so you could have some pictures, and it could have some text after it, and then some more pictures. Is that a possibility for the future?

Is there anyway spreadsheets can be incorporated into MS? Would make posted stats, training & food logs a lot easier

Yep, if you want to host something bigger you're better off using an image hosting service such as Photobucket

Yep, I thought of that but thought it was a bit too big to bite off at this stage. I'll talk to Mikey about it

Uploading actual Excel spreadsheets or tool for displaying info in a tabular format?

Cheers all for your thoughts. Let me know if you find anything in this new photo stuff that seems broken or doesn't work as you'd expect.

Up next - more stars stuff, previewing posts and autosaving so you don't lose a long post. I'll post again when we're ready to launch them

I'd like to copy and paste tables from excel onto here, but just taking a screen shot does the job for now.
