I've managed to dodge this thanks to my sister taking the wife to see it. The worst part is my mrs has never seen any of it before, so my sister gave her the full series on DVD. It's about 20 dvd's long and she's watched it non stop for a week. Thank god I have decorating to do.
Kim Catrall nails a different bloke every episode. And to think I loved her in manequin (sp).
Listen to you lot moan on! All you need is a round of Cosmos and better outfits ;)
I'm sure Hollywood apologises for making a film that isn't based on a comic book, doesn't include martial arts or Megan Fox bending over/Jessica Alba in a bikini.
I liked it. Made me chuckle but have a little weep too :)

Awww...
Part of me thinks the end came for SATC, so it should just be left like that. I don't really want to know what happens, in case I go and see it, but I understand the plot picks up four years after the end of the series, so have the characters moved on a lot?
I just think it could all be a bit weird, and very turn of the century cliched.
It's a bit like the follow up to This Life, which was interesting to watch, but not quite the same old magic as the original.
Besides, men should be thankful for it, it encourages women to lose inhibitions and experiment ;)
It also makes women think that fashion and shoes are important and that expensive clothes are fun, destroying bank balances and relationships world over.

I'm not sure it does, certainly not for me or any of my friends who watch it. It's pure ecapism.

Hardly, as all of the women seem to be able to support themselves, in terms of financing their fashion habits. And, if anything, the fashion is an enhancement to their lives, and an escapism from the quest for lurve.
Must say I've never ever watched an episode and I think I'd rather chew my own arm off than watch SATC.... don't get me wrong I love shopping and am certainly not a prude but the appeal of the show/movie rates somewhere in the minuses for me.
