I thikn my brain is dying from boredom at work, tho I did discover why the possible reason why the irritating woman is not doing the job I am currently doing (which she has done the last three times)
Well, no, because the whole crux of her rant was relating to the stairs having not been hoovered: she doesn't seem to get that Dad may well be at home all day, but he is working, not dossing about. She, gets in at 3.30 and then sits around all night.
Have you ever tried to help someone, only to get the feeling they are ignoring everything you say?
We had a woman who wanted to start a nutrition business. She tried going out on her own for 6 months but struggled to get anywhere. She found out about our therapies and asked could she work with us.
I have just had a meeting with her, explaining how best she should structure her business, how I think we should market it, who we should target etc.
Anyway, she seemed to have a different idea on everything I said. I have helped 7 therapists establish businesses and get them running successfully, she knows these people and came to me for this reason!
In the end I felt like saying 'OK then, you go and do it your way which has obviously been SOOOOO successful for you in the past'.

Yes. Spent several days helping colleague, found out he was asking for help from the senior colleague as well and ignoring my advice half the time. Erm, why waste his time and mine then?!
Shoulder much better, symptoms seem fine at the moment, and finally completed the first job app direct from my best job site in a week - for a temp agency. Not waiting to see what they say I have a bundle of new searches to do to find new places to apply to, rack 'em up and fill out the DSS paperwork.
If I'm still blazing away by 10.30, I'll just keep going and make the cutoff point midnight at the latest.
@ Johnny BB - how much was the passport renewal again?
