Sometimes an entrepreneur can be taking a bad idea and making it good, it doesn't have to be a new out the box one.

If we come up with something good enough, nothing will stop me getting it out there. I really want this :)

Unfort if the others don't ave the same passion, your lunch time meeting could be a waste! I hope not, but just in case nothing does come from it... entrepreneurs are good at going it alone!

Once I have the idea, I will happily go it alone.
Just need to buy into whatever I am going to do.
It will come.

As time went on, I was unsure about the direction the first company that I worked for after uni was going (MD frequently having too many liquid lunches), so I left to work for myself - some good clients wanted to go with me so it was a lucky break and useful whilst I find my feet in the freelancing industry.

So for a few years, I worked on projects for both existing and new clients (including partnering up with a local design one-man company - I am crap at design so it is useful to have contacts and pool resources!).

Although the income was not exactly regular or stable, it was very well paid and then I had another luck when a new client (a media agency) came along who offered a contract work.

Result? I ended up working for this media agency and have no regrets (money is a lot less than what you get from working as a contractor or freelancer). I have had opportunities to learn and utilise new technologies, the team here is great, the ethos are great, and I have to say that the designs coming out of the design dept here is the best I have seen!

I did have an opportunity to work for a certain coffee chain in London (in web development not as a barrista!) with great salaries but the time was not right plus I was very comfortable working for the agency here.

Are you thinking of leaving your job?
