not so much bureaucracy more like petty, lazy arsed bin men cant be arsed to do the job properly, would it be so hard for one of the wankers to take the tea bag out, lazy cunts have got it easy, unlike the bin men of yesteryear who where real men, who had to carry heavy bins down the back alleys, not wheel them like todays ponces
How do you "accidentally" get a single teabag in the wrong bin?
you make yourself a cup of tea, go to throw the tea bag into the bin, which quite possibly was next to the recycling bin, and inadvertently chucked the offending teabag into the recycling bin, there ya go easily done.
however the question you should be asking is, would it be so hard for one of the binmen to remove it, it probably would have took less effort than sticking the notice on

I was imagining bins outside - I see what you mean. And in this case, probably fair.
The other side of the coin is that I've worked with a number of tossers (technical term, there) who had a thing against recycling - which I never quite understood. They would throw stuff that they knew was not recyclable into the recycling bin saying something along the lines of "It's their job to sort it out". I always thought they deserved a good kicking.
Why does Germany seem to be able to manage recycling and we can't?
I dunno, my bins are outside, so teabags go in an indoor bin, and all the waste of that go in the big bin.. don't see how a lone tea bag fell into the wrong bin...

It takes some getting used to! We end up with about 5 different piles of stuff to go in the recycling bins.
Come the green revolution, Barcode will be the first one against the hedge.
Never gonna happen! :-D
Binmen have suddenly got a tiny, teeny pathetic bit of power and by God they are going to wield it. Losers should have worked harder at school then they wouldn't be picking up my crap for money!

Interestingly enough, Barcode and his ilk go on strike and who notices?
