I really liked the film. It got a bit dull in the first half, but the whole of the brazil section was interesting. The CGI was sometimes iffy, and the whole Blonsky/The abomination character wasn't given enough time IMO as Blonsky is a pretty interesting character in the marvel universe. We all know that Captain America was created with the same serum as that which was given to Blonsky so that should've been explained a little better ie we're looking at creating super soldiers with this serum.

At least the Hulk was badass in this film. The Hulk was like an emo kid in the last film. I just want him to crush stuff.

I loved the whole Stark industries cameos. The sonic cannons and the tanks and stuff as well as good old Tony appearing at the end.....you know the avengers are coming.

I'd give it an 8 for comic book/cartoon fans, a 7 for normal action film fans. Out of 10 obviously

Went last night too... I really enjoyed it, as others have said the CGI was a bit ropey in sections but in others it was superb!

The battle at the end was great, the abomination was a badass and the fight had real intensity... and of course the "HULK SMASH" bit made me smile for ear to ear!!

Look forward to the whole Avengers thing opening up but still prefer the hero's on their own to be honest as I think they would all get sidelined in a group film... but what do I know!

Enjoyed this alot. It certainly has its faults (the dodgy CGI - although fair play to R&H for the big fight scene at the end, and as Chris said, whereas in the last move ILM went to great lengths to make the Hulk look like he's transformed from Banner, here he just comes across as some random green monster, etc.) there's certainly nothing that gets in the way of enjoying this massive smashemup!

There are lots of references to the old 70's TV program, literally recreating the radiation scene from the pilot, the green/white eyes on transformation, and the use of the old shows piano theme regularly, and there's the obligatory cameo's from Stan Lee and big Louie (still juiced to the gills! How old is he now?).

The action starts very early on, running around Brazil and the green guy despensing of soldiers in a warehouse, and moving swiftly into scenes of smashing up tanks and helicopters.

Overall, they did a pretty good job of stacking up against Ang Lee's take on the big guy. Well worth the money. Highly reccomended.

I'm going to watch the Ang Lee one again this week if I get the chance, i STILL like that version though and Hulk v Tanks, helicopters and whatever else in the first one is big screen cinema at it's best.

And the Hulk can jump miles too...

Me too! I'll be digging out the DVD as soon as I get a spare couple of hours (which in reality probably means I wont get the chance though...)

Primal Hulk was great. There was certainly no taking care of genetically mutated poodles using your teeth in this one! :-)

There's just something different about the hulk... it's all the power and strength and anger... but it's also packaged in a way where you just KNOW he's going to BE powerful, strong and angry... hard to explain but some people may understand..?

Maybe I just love strength and muscle and watching it in a "super" form is about as good as it'll get..???

I preferred it when Hulk was taller (I think he's 9ft in Incredible, 15ft in Ang Lee's and 7ft in the comic books). I miss the tank swinging and leaping about.

I saw in a book about the Hulk once where they had a comparison of his height in different comics, artists, and mediums over the years. Interesting to see the different interpretations, and how he seems to have grown as the years went on!

I particulary liked in Ang Lee's Hulk how he got bigger and more 'incredible' the more angry he got! Like when he was being rained upon by bullets outside the house, etc.

I'm not a big Hulk fan. To me, it's just brawn and no brains (except for the stretchy pants) but I did like the film. Can't wait for Civil War though!
