Saw this last night. It was ok.
My biggest problem with the film is, it just doesn't go anywhere. Bruce Banner all lonely and moody because of his 'gift'. Someone makes Bruce made. Hulk comes, Hulk smash. Banner feels awful/dehumanised. Someone wants to get Hulk. Hulk Smash again. Banner can't be with the one he loves. She loves him despite of Hulk. Hulk smash other bad guy. Banner still lonely. End.
There is no real story, and what kind of action can you have with the strongest superhero in the Marvel universe? No-one can really match him, and the blonsky charcter in this movie had no charctrisation. Why did he want to get super strong? Why did he want to beat Banner/Hulk so bad? Why did he want to be like the Hulk. In this respect, the baddie is similar to Iron Man. We never really know why he is doing it all or what drives him. He's just a generic bad guy.
Also, there is only so much you can do with a main charcter who can only express himself with violence.
The acting wasn't great either. Norton is an excellent actor, but it all felt so average. Tyler is ok, but doesn't have much. Ditto for Roth and Hurt, TBH.
Basically, if you have seen comic book films before, you've already seen this movie. If you want a good CB movie, wait for Dark Knight. If you want a good action movie, wait for QOS.
