Thought I'd recommend some good short stories I've read lately. Two by Stephen King: Popsy and The Lawnmower Man; in his Nightmares and Dreamscapes and Night Shift short story collections respectively, and Homemade by Ian McEwan, on his collection called First Love, Last Rites.
