Fruit bad, but fruit on a pizza good. The cheese and fat in the pizza counter acts that evil fructose don't you know.

Studies like this are annoying. Why do them? They're not telling us anything productive. As people have said, it isn't fructose that is the problem, although it is a calorie dense substance. What is the problem is the volume of fructose and thus the volume of calories in some people's diets.
The people that consume a large volume of fructose are not eating a large volume of fruit. They're eating a large volume of sugar packed processed foods.
It all just comes back to calories in versus calories out. Make the right food choices, watch your portion sizes, and if you really want to get things moving quickly, count calories.
