Seems like an easy target to me, and dare I say it - some publicity seeking on behalf of gaydar?
If they're so bothered about gay rights why weren't they so vocal about recent homophobia from Irish politicians, or campaigned more actively for the rights of gay men and lesbians in countries where being gay is punishable by death? Or just tackled more issues around bullying for gay youth in the UK?
It's strange what campaigns they seem to want to support - and ignore :-(
