Hardly any damage but they obviously thought it important enough to send two plain clothes first, two SOCO later. Either that or it was a slow day. I was surprised anyone showed up too!

She's a little minx, and her show is spectacular. We had a ball, but hardly knew any of the songs ... she did sing I Should be so lucky though ... I knew that one

Mornin MSers, hope you are all well and that the weather in Cornwall is much nicer than it is here (for those off to the meet). Blimey do I feel mizzo today! Only lost 1 measly lb all week so that's what... nearly 8 weeks on 1200 cals a day for 10lb worth of weight loss, don't get me wrong I'm glad to be losing weight but I was looking at diet mags in Tesco's yest and most were "guaranteeing" loss of x amount of lbs in a fortnight by following their diets and when I had a shuftie the majority of them were 1200 cals a day.... which is what I'm doing but managing nowhere near the weight loss these mags are "guaranteeing" :o( also the business still has cash flow probs with the housing market thingy and all so I don't think we'll get a summer holiday this year at all!!! Woe is me :o(

I thought it would be a great show even if I didn't know the songs.
They've put a lot of effort into the lightshow and the props ... she descends in a 15 ft silver skull at one point ... pyramids rise out of the floor etc ... loads to keep you occupied.
one dodgy bit in the middle featuring a projection of a 30 ft naked Japanese girl with the little X's covering her modesty ... not sure what that was about ...
On my so-called rest day I was walking 3 out of 4 miles in the hottest sunshine of the day, and I paid for it bigstyle...
Even though I'm the fittest I've ever been and look great compared to my lardy post-Xmas self in Jan, I needed 11.5hrs' kip and will hopefully stop feeling like death after a bath. When I go out, I'll get my passport pix all right but will do a Saturday morning trip for the actual application form - or just leave it to Monday since it won't get to the passport peeps until Tuesday anyway.
Sorry to hear about your burglary Will, hopefully they'll have their fingerprints as happened with my 2nd one four years back. He'd never been caught before but just wait until he has to do any kind of official paperwork in future...
What do people usually do on Friday evenings then? I fancy nipping out for the cinema tonight as it's nice to finish the weekend on something other than a run of the mill evening?
Friday nights? Well tongiht we'll be avoiding the main clubs as it's going to be busy weekend for visitors to the city. Off to a little club on the other side of town probably for some fun.....
