Morning, baby's!

I'm shattered. The piggin' sun rises at like 3:30am, and by 4:30 my room is baking hot. Up till now summer had been nice. Nice and dry and warm/hot. But now that the 'monsoons' (that happen every year up here in the north) have arrived, the humidity has shot up, and I hate that.

The 3 or 4 days of rain per week followed by 2 days of baking sun make it so humid.

Do you guys work for any big companies?

I work for L'oreal, and they make a big thing out of being eco friendly. They hold meetings and have 'green days' and cycle to work days and so on, to reduce their carbon footprint. But I noticed that in the nearly 4 months I've been there, the radiators have never been off, the lights are allways on, and they make me throw away any product that doesn't have a lid on it! Even if it's full! What about you guys, does your workplace make a big song and dance about this kind of stuff then completely ignore the obvious?

But at least they try, even if it's not very well thought out! They're quite a nice company to work for. Once a month they give out a bag to each of the office women containing their entire product range, free of charge.

we just have cake day, ice cream day, biscuit club, free bar tabs, monthly outings to restaurants/activities, and a summer and xmas party.

we concentrate on the stuff people want
