New training log now the DD challenge is over. Keeping at the cut for a couple more weeks to help trim off the stomach. After that aim is 180lbs @10% which will be no mean feat!! 6 Months is the plan I reckon.

For now, upping the normal cardio, upping the unfuelled cardio and trying to be as strict as possible with food intake!

Routine will be 3 sets of;

Squats
Deadlift
Pull Up
Bench Press
Military Press
25 mins SSCV

Did this today and I was knackered, hopefully it will be easier once I am back on bulking calories!

I'm not sure that's a good idea mate, I take it that unfuelled cardio is getting up in a morning, having nothing to eat, then doing your cardio. By doing this you risk losing muscle mass as your body will have no energy & will use the easiest source available ie muscle. Best off having a bit of fruit or something before you start

Cheers for the input, but as long as you keep it slow, steady and shortish, it seems to be a big part of what a lot of the pro's use. Although i imagine there's just as many people to argue against its use!

good look fishy. I'd have to disagree with unfueled cardio too; or any cardio isf its purely for fatloss.

did yopu take any pics at the end of DD challenge; I'd be very interested to see your progress.

Well it is to accelerate the fat loss, but my diet is ok, workout is good and there are plenty of people who use it to their advantage! But building my fitness back up, is also a prime consideration.

I did take a pic, will post it later on the DD thread.

Very close to my DD workouts (but with cardio!) If you push yourself hard you will be dying at the end of each one :D

Good luck fishy. How's the climbing going?

Climbing's good, me and two mates have decided as much as possible, Weds is to be climbing day! The wall near us opens early that day and on nice days, outdoor trips! Last one was to Portland, spent about a good 7 hours climbing. Right on the coast, blazing skies, sea lapping around you while belaying and burnt to a crisp! Hands are still suffering a bit though with loss of skin!

Last night, went to a spinning class for the first time. Bloody hell, sweat was pouring off me! Legs have a got a right ache on today though. There's a hint of a 2nd ab feintly showing! I reckon 2 weeks or so and I'll be happy! Then a couple weeks of maintenance calories before back on the bulk!

Also got some free samples from boditronics today, those guys make some tasty shakes! Just had a cookies and cream whey! Got a banana split and choc orange as well to try! I use their bedtime shake already and that also tastes pretty good! Got plenty of stuff in it to stop muscle breakdown overnight!

Right weigh in this morning showed 158lbs, although I might have been slightly dehydrated, going to reweigh in the morning just to confirm. The abs aren't quite out yet but don't want to go any leaner at this stage. Bodyfat is about 13% now and should give me a good base to bulk again. The stomach is a lot flatter than it was before.

Going to go on some maintenance calories for 2 weeks then increase the calories slowly to gain pretty much spot on 1lb-1.5lb a week.

Aim this time is to keep bodyfat low, increase strength, become a master of the deadlift, I think the bulk this time will be quite long term so might workout a few intermediate goals.

Going to hit the gym tomorrow on the compound routine I put up, and start taking notes on weights. Pre and post workout nutrition will spot on and religiously followed. And somewhere in the middle I am going to have a short stint using creatine, but prob not til Sept.

This new routine is a killer, there's only 5 exercises and by the end I'm shattered! Dropped the weight to 35kg on the deadlift so I can concentrate on the form. Upped the squats slightly to 45kg and bench press is around 55kg, so looking forward to some good strength gains in the next few weeks!

Reweigh in this morning was 161lbs which is quite a difference to yesterday so next weeks reading is going to be difficult to interpret.

Loving being able to eat again though!!
