A couple are complaining to the Church after their noisy toddler was ordered out of their wedding. But more and more couples are banning children altogether... risking the wrath of family and friends as they do.

This is outrageous! Why should the vicar, or the presiding officer of the ceremony decide who should, or should not be present. It is the bride and grooms day, they should decide who attends.

I think kids at a wedding are fun, and add to the day, as long as they are not too loud and shouty to be intrusive

I don't think a total ban should be in place, but if the to be wed wants a children free wedding then it should be respected since it is their big day afterall.

I agree.

I like kids but I hate it when they are screaming/whatever during the wedding vows. It's up to the parent to sit with them near the exit and take them outside if that happens!

Only known of one wedding where children were banned, with it being about 15 years, I was banned from the event. Hence, I have not idea how the day turned out.

There will be no sprogs at my wedding next year.

There is one twelve year old but she is very mature.

I want my guests to relax and enjoy themselves.
Not have to feed, or babysit and leave early.

I do wonder at weddings, sometimes they want to leave early and use children as an excuse.

My guests will be staying at the place where I get married though. And the removal of children means all they have to worry about is a babysitter for that day and night. They should be allowed a day off to relax and have a few drinks without having to think about changing nappies, grumpy moods and bottles.

I agree, I've been to wedding with Jake where he has started crying and I just walked outside with him, simple. Other times he has sat there quietly.

Would you rather leave the kids at home and enjoy yourself though?
