More than 50 dissident Catholic groups have issued an open letter to Pope Benedict saying the Church's ban on contraception has been catastrophic.

The letter said the Church's anti-contraception policy has had a catastrophic impact on the poor and powerless around the world, endangering women's lives and leaving millions at risk of HIV.
Millions have already died from AIDS because they won't use contraception. In Latin America they use the same word for condom as Devil. Don't placate the old German fart with this leaving millions at risk nonsense. The Church already has blood on its hands.
