Question- i got some chicken breast spicy chilli strips in my frezzer which i was and would still like to use as sandwich fillers. However i froze them over a month ago and it says on the back of most frezzing guildline "consume within 1 month", the date on the pack is 5AUG. Would these still be ok to take out and use on Monday in my sarnies?

if it was me, I'd defrost and if it looks ok give it a go. It depends a bit on how good your freezer is. Some meats I put in ours don't seem to last long at all.
being over for a few days is probably less important than how old it was before you froze it and what happens when you defrost.

I say eat it. As long as it was frozen when fresh it will be fine. I take no responsibility though for any stomach upset !!!

cheers guys i thought it'l be ok, as along as it hasnt been months and months then i think the meat goes a bit weird once defrozed. Its out now and hope its ok tomorow.

Ok guys, I got the chicken out of the frezzer but I only used half the box for lunch today, how long can de-frozed stuff keep in the fridge?
