The NHS spends three times more in some areas on treating the same conditions, it has emerged. A report highlighted huge variations in amounts spent locally.

Some variation is expected as there may be a greater need in a particular treatment at one hospital compared to another. This could be dependant on age, number of people in the area, etc.
"Islington, North London, spent £332 per head of population on mental health, while in West Kent it was just £98 - a 3.4-fold gap."
It would nice to know where there is such a big-gap - there may be a suitable answer for this, but we should at least have some idea why there is a gap.

I love yummy mummies. They're my favourite. If they were a cereal, I would eat them with a little sugar sprinkled on top.
