I was flicking through the TV channels yesterday, and I was wathching some qualifiers for the Worlds Strongest Man. From 2007 I think.
Obviously there was some big blokes on it, but was curious to whether these guys were natural?
Also, one of them died not long after filming (I forget his name) but he was only 26/7.
Apparently from a genetic disorder something to do with an enlarged heart. Is this one of the side effects to steroids, potentially?

None of them are natural, the strongest man doesn't really test for performance enhancing drugs, they have tested and disciplined Marius P' but that was for recreational rather then performance drugs.

I remember the Amreican lad who died Jesse Marunde, he was a great character and really seemd to enjoy the strongest man tournament, sadly he was competing against Marius and he would of been alwyas struggling, the enlarged heart is not a new thing in juicers and HGH'rs it's just one of the side effects....

I still enjoy watching it though and look forwrd to it at xmas.

True, there's more too it than just all out power, you need stamina and just look at the shape of Marius Pudzyanovski... he is HUGE and incredibly strong and fairly lean too.

I was watching this the other day too, that guy was so impressive!
The way he picked up that car and walked with it was amazing, totally effortless.

I actually really enjoyed watching it!

Cheers noffles, thought they were a bit too big to be natural!

It does take the shine off their amaazing feats slightly, but still, they lift some serious stuff.

Is any sport natural these days for heaven's sake?!

I keep finding all this out, and it leaves me totally depressed!

I could probably be an olympian given the right drugs! :-/
