I nipped into Boots yesterday to get some lunch (how long can it stay at £2.99?) and they had massive displays of their "3 for 2" Christmas presents. It's September, Christmas is three weary, miserable months away, and they have all these ugly sodding presents on display.
How long before they start playing bloody Jingle Bells ?

One of my work colleagues likes to get a Boots meal deal for his lunch.
I think the individual items are over priced, hence making £2.99 look like a good price.
Also the buy 5 get 6th "free" they are obviously having a nice profit on it.
Where I probably spent less than £1 on my lunch. Doesnt make it seem that cheap then.
Bring your own lunch in, its much bette value, and you know whats in it.

It's the first time I've been and bought lunch for ages. My lunchbox is the envy of the office! ;-)

Hmm yes I've saved so much money this month with no lunches, but next month really must stop being so lazy and bring lunch in rather than revert to spending a fiver each day! Some of the Boots wraps are quite nice tho.
*Is so glad to not celebrate christmas*
