I have just had my lunch tainted with lavender "flavoured" washing up liquid.

The plastic box had been washed in the suds and rinsed with boiling water before use, but the fragrance had entered the plastic and then my lunch.

I shall bleach the plastic box tonight to remove the taint - but why do they add such strong perfumes to these products??

I rewash some stuff like lunch boxes after they dry with just water.

I'm a freak like that.

Also, always give tea cups and extra rinse...nothing quite like washing up suds to mix with your tea!
