Talk / Fitness / Training logs / Marco Van Fatten to Marco Van Basten!

Well lads, it's the middle of week two and all is going well. I've stuck to the diet and the training program and it is paying dividends. I down 4 pounds in that time.

The main thing is the increase in water and exercise. I never really had a bad diet it was just I was always sitting down!

The main goal was to get back into football training and the training is twice a week. I've completed 3 sessions thus far and i've taken part in everything and completed all things asked. I'm pleasantly suprised at my level of fitness as although i'm 'busted' after each session i'm keeping up with lads that have been doing this for 5-6 years twice a week.

I'm doing the weight training and interval training twice a week also and i'm swimming on a Friday for 30 mins.

The water was hard at first as i'm a teacher and leaving water on my desk is npot an option as i don't have one! I teach in a behavioural disorder school and the kids would have a hard not to tamper with it! I'm now up to 3 liters a day and rising.

My goal is 25 pounds, so 21 to go!

Marco Van Fatten is going to be substituted very soon!

lol at the title

Concerning the water intake, maybe increase the intake when at home so you have to drink less during work. For example, having a 0.5l first thing in the morning and then 1.0/1.5l in the evening.

I found it a big problem when I started work, they thought I had a bladder problem - halved my intake during work; hence, did not need to go every 30 mins during my work hours.

4lbs in 1.5 weeks is good progress and you should see similar results for the next few weeks. Although, the weight loss/week will decrease and do not be dis-heartened by it - just keeping plugging away.

Good luck.
