is it just me, or does anyone else find it totally unnecessary for people to have to walk around with a cup of coffee on their hand? Is time really so precious that peeps can't sit down for a drink, or something to eat?!
I am sick of seeing people with papwr Costa Coffee cups in their hands!!

I think people do it because they try and be cool and hip. It's like people who have those blue tooth ear pieces because they are too busy to hold a phone to their ears. They probably have a gadget that wipes their arse for them lol.

I agree - pointless and waste of money.
Come to think of it, I am seeing more McDonald coffee cups these days rather than Starbucks -- the credit crunch must be hitting these poor hip coffee drinkers!
I drink coffee but only have it in the office on desk.

I might see what peoples reactions are if I were to take a genuine ceramic mug from home out and about, with coffee in.
When I'm out and about I just hold a knife.
You run faster with a knife.

One the the gf's friends walks about with a thermos cup of tea, almost everywhere! She looks like such a tool. Agree that's a yuppy fashion thing.

Its not something I would do often at all, but i think sometimes there is a good reason for it, i.e. if your up early in the morning, not had a cuppa and have an early meeting to get to, you stop past a coffee shop.

Is it really that annoying, Ben? If this is all you have to rant about, count yourself lucky!
I can't remember ever buying coffee to drink on the go.
