How rude! Don;t you realise that the person making that coffee is a professional barista who has taken two years of training to reach that level of making coffee and deserves suitable recompense?

If this is a proper rant, then you should be worried because you would join the ranters group of Treb and Claudio.

I purchase takeaway coffee, if I need to be in work early; although I do prefer to sit down and have a coffee.

Anyone notice the high number of people who order takeway coffee and then sit inside normally with a laptop or paper-work.

well i went into starbucks whilst waiting for my interview for a quick pick me up, and they ran out of mugs and gave me a paper cup, then all of a sudden the dish washer seemed to have been emptied and everyone else got mugs (unless it actually was take out). I hate anytime in paper/poly cups just doesnt taste right. and the cost £2 for a black coffee!
actually McDs coffee aint naff bad, but still about £1, tea is even more of a rip off. you pay £2.5 for a green tea bag (usually a known brand) and all they do is fill it with water...
