The stars know damn well that they could be reciting their shopping lists on film for 2 hours and people would still go and watch. It's not just De Niro and Pacino, There's great supporting performances from John Leguizamo and Donnie Wahlberg and even small screen king Brian Dennehy gets another big screen outing for the first time in three years.
So it's a missed opportunity as it was only OK rather than top drawer classic. As the only film I was watching at the flicks in September I enjoyed it all the same.

I thought it was average. You can see the plot ending a mile away.
