Persons unknown put random purchases on my credit card last month to the value of about £1,000.
I now have a new card !
What do you mean random ? Surely any one off puchase is random ?

I think I've used my credit card less than 10 times, so nothing random on it really. I am trying to use my debit card less as well, to cut down on potential card cloning, and also using cash tends to make me spend less as well.

Interesting so you are using your card less to cut down on the threat of card cloaning??
How do you go about buying stuff online though or do you not bother??

More the money management than cloning fear.
I don't buy much stuff online, except through amazon (via the mansized link of course! and yes in that case I do use my card.
