Talk / Fitness / Equipment / Product review: Powerbar chin-up bar

Got this from UK Fitness Supplies, along with a few other items. I did have the £8 chin bar from Argos; however, because of changes around the house, could not use it anyone more; hence, had to get a detachable option instead.

clicky

Fits in about 10 seconds, although it did not fit my first choice door-frame because of the frame design. It has a far better grip position for chins-up and pulls-up, better position for leg-hip raise (as you are away from the door-frame instead of betting under it) and it doubles as grip for push-ups too.

Did like the BodySolid option; however, they did not have one of the other items I wanted.

Some people cannot fit a permanent chin-up bar and this is great option. No screws and it does not leave markers either. Something for home-gym trainers on this board or people looking to complement their gym routines.

I went for the screw option because it was only a third of the price and the local BB shop only had screw options. However, wish I went for this option the first time.

Mine is great - had it about 3 years now.

The only bit of wear showing is the "Powerbar" transfer label which is slowly being rubbed off.
