I got bored half way through the science paper, so skipped to the discussion. They aren't saying it's an excuse for people to be fat, but rather trying to find out what happens in the brain when people stuff their faces. Interesting potential target for anti obesity therapy, but surely we're better off training people to not get fat in the first place?!
