Aye Palin is a religious nutbar.
So is Obama but in fairness he does seem to have a very secular approach to Government.
I'd says Obama was a shoe in from day one.
But like Phoenix said yesterday about the US Elections - Bored!

McCain faltered in the lastest debate last night.
Apparently he came over as old and irritable ... which actually, he is while Obama remained calm and collected.

Mrs Palin better start whipping up the anti-black vote if she wants her man in the hot seat ...

the main problem with the US elections is the people who get to vote are retarded for the most part. Idiocy breeds idiocy, it will sadly be inevitable that the lesser candidate wins.

Rather linked and amusing article from Clarkson Times

Particular nugget:

And so with that in mind I have come up with a proposal for Ofcom, the broadcasting regulator. Instead of removing the chocks of decency from the wheels of human degeneration you must stop thinking of TV as a mirror and insist it becomes a beacon.

Though one of the comments makes a good point, Top Gear celebrates both moronic stupidness and valueless celebritites.
