If I was emmigrating I'd be bringing up my kids in Aussie or Canada. No question.

I am proud and happy to live in the UK, and would hate to bring my child up anywhere else (although I am partial to some sunshine).

Its not a poor place, its what you make it.

What the report doesn't give you is information on where the expats in the UK are based. I reckons a lot of them are in London. I wouldn't want to live there either!

If you make something of it - it's the best place in the world!

There's so much variety over the UK it's a bot unfair to generalise. I certainly wouldn't want to bring my kids up in a rough and dirty part of town.

Unfrotunately it's getting to the point where it will be a bad place to bring up kids. It used to b egreat, and other people saw that and flocked here in their droves. Now it's not so great.

We're Canada, Australia or deepest darkest Devon bound sooner or later. Manchester is a shit hole.

I'm sure beads will throw you a welcoming party.

I was born and raised in London, and survived fine, hatter.
