Talk / Time off / Games, gadgets and computers / Digifusion TV?

Not exactly a Sony quality but am thinking about getting it as it would be to replace the one in the sun lounge. It does not have anything like HD, digital tuner, etc. -- not too bothered by the lack of these features (there is an old sky box which works like a freesat, plus digital switchover in this area is not happening till 2012).

Linky

So the big questions....
- HD - is it REALLY worth it?
- Is £230 a good price?
- Anybody here had a Digifusion product? I can't find anything online...

I would prefer not to spend too much money, a high-quality product, etc. for the sun lounge as it can get dusty, hot in summer, and freezing in extreme winter! :o)

It looks ok, should do the job, have you checked AV Forums for any reviews?

cheers for your responses. Yep already checked AVForums - no Digifusion tv reviews or comments. Only those for PVR.

That reminds me, can a PVR (e.g. Linky be used to record programmes transmitted via sky dish?

I just checked Which too & couldn't see any. I may be a be reluctant to buy a TV with no online reviews consdering you can get reviews for Woolworth's own brand TVs. I suppose you could check Play's return policy & take the risk
