It's not suprising that Brits have difficulty naming famous British landmarks over other countries. We're eaducated in schools about other countries more than we are our own. The only topics we educate over British history is the Victorians and the World wars...

Obviously, the intellecutal masses amongst us would have a better job, but the average Joe sofa lover wouldn't be able to tell you.

I'd also prefer to have been born French. I prefer the language and the life style, amongst other things.

Stereotypes aside, I think I much prefer the Continental way of life. Much more relaxed pace, more preventivie healthcare, just a bit more home and family centric.

I envy my Spanish, German, Swiss, and French collegues their holiday schedules as well. That amount of time off is not only humane, but somehow just seems right.
