Brilliant theatre director Nicholas Hytner may run the National Theatre, but he just doesn't get cinema.

well I've tickets to see the stage show when it comes to Belfast in a couple of weeks ... so by the looks of it, I'll just wait for that ...

You're in for a treat - it is a brlliant night out. Although it's quite a long play, it speeds by. It's funny, thought-provoking, humane and very sharp. (Possibly the closest thing to The West Wing the UK has ever produced.

For me it reminded me very much of my school days - in a good way.

Enjoy.

Is Richard Griffiths still going to be in it in Belfast?

I thought that Anton Rodgers was taking over.

Right. I didn't know. He's a good actor too.

Actually, Stephen Moore is now playing Hector. He's a good actor - but he doesn't have the same "presence" as Griffiths (i.e. he's not a fatty)

As long as the actors are proferssional enough it will be good - because it's a brilliant play. Griffiths is pretty special though in these kinds of roles.
