You can select Firefox to open popups in new tabs (tab selection in preferences) rather than in a new window. I'm using an release candidate of IE7 and find it pretty annoying in contrast to earlier beta versions. Only thing I really like is the close tab function, and new tab button, otherwise Mozilla IMO is better (I don't care about spyware though, so its not so much an issue for me). Mozilla also has better and free extensions too, better find tool.

You're right about the extras you can get, they are good...Although I've only been playing with it for a short while.

I find a Firefox optimizer on eBay user Cuddly Hippo's eBay Me page, she's got a great, helpful page there, didn't seem to do much though.

Can't believe you don't worry about Spyware, seems more destructive than viruses too me, fair play.

Why isn't Spyware an issue for you? Do you know something I don't?
