Hi guys,
If you remember at the start of this post 5 and a bit weeks ago, I mentioned that the weight loss training programme coincided with a physiotherapist study I was taking part in.
Well today I went for the second fitness test.
They clocked me in at just under 15stone, which means I've lost just over a stone in five weeks. Yay me! They were very surprised and said I had far and away lost more weight than the other participants.
My post exercise BP had dropped from 190/84 to 175/81.
And my RHR dropped from 65 to 59.
My grip strength had increased from 120 to 135.
One of the guys was a bit annoyed when I told him the majority of my training was resistance training. He seemed a bit cynical.
Anyway I am gonna get a full detailed report off them at some stage and in the meantime I will post a pic and measurements on Sunday and the end of 6 weeks. But I do know I've added an inch to my calves and an inch and a half to my thighs, so I'm not losing any muscle mass which is deadly!
Good man yerself horsebox.
How's the back?
Did ya get all your assignments in?
The back is still in a deachair.
Finished lectures today. Gonna let myself have a few jars this evening. If that's ok!

Summary - Dropped 3lbs and knocked another inch off waist. Not as much progress as in the first three weeks but I have achieved half of my goal in half of the programme.
My thighs have gained an added an inch and a half which I think may be effecting weight loss. But hey more muscle is good I suppose
Bought myself two new pairs of jeans yesterday as a reward to myself.
So I am well on the way to getting to my original goal of 14st by the end of this 12 week programme.
Bring on the Xmas Sprouts!

Hi Anthony,
Feeling rather sluggish, lethargic recently.
All the usual factors are fine - work, sleep etc.
Would it be anything to do with low calorie diet?

Ow!
DOMS are a bastard!
My c*nt of a cousin took me to a different gym yesterday and we did loads of leg work.
Now I can't move. The whole 'standing up' thing is not cool.
Feel like I was taken from behind by a rhino.
Re: Mansized Body Comp
I am halfway through the Mansized Weight Loss Challenge and have lost a stone but I do not know what goals to set if I enter the comp?
Should I stick with the original weight loss goal and then adjust in 6 weeks or start a new goal from here?
Any suggestions? Anthony? Anyone?

Well training might be off the menu until next week. Exams, exams and more exams. Finished the 18th though so will get stuck into Mr Mansized training from there.
Will get one good session in on Wednesday morning but other than that it's cramming all the way.
I've even got an exam on Saturday! Not cool.
First exam in the morning so I'm off to bed or Santa won't bring me that A.
