We know what D stands for... disappointing. Jack Black desperately needs to find some new material. Click for our verdict, the trailer and tell us what you think.

If the best thing you can say about a film is the trailer is good then that is going to be a great film...
i hate Jack Black, i have never found him funny (admittedly i have only seen one of his films, but trust me that was more than enough)
i will never watch anything he is in

I loved The D's first album, but I guess the jokes are wearing a bit thin. You can only play on the same thing for so long before it gets tired (hence the reason a series of the Catherine Tate Show shouldn't last more than about three episodes)...

You may not like him, but that is one insult that cannot be thrown at Jack Black! He has a really good voice.
I have lots of musician friends, one of them is a bit of a music production nerd, and he said the Tenacious D album (the first one) is one of the most technically proficient albums ever produced. The quality of musicianship etc are outstanding.
Personally, I love that first album! Havent seen or heard the pick of destiny album yet.

I liked the pick of destiny, it was not amazing but it was fun, the bit when he is on drugs is really funny.
Love the album too, some good rifts.
