I'm not sure what the current value of my house is, I doubt it's gone up £15k in the last year mind!
If it has, then I bet the next house I want to buy has gone up £25k, because I'm dead lucky like that!
That is what most people fail to realise. It is all good and well if the property value increases; however, if one wishes to move then the property they would more too. Unless one downgrades, but would want to do that unless they are retiring?
If a 160k property increases by £15k, it means a £200k property would increase by more then £15k.

Perhaps you should invest in a mobile home....
I live with parents (who don't exactly live in this country) and i do hope to buy my own place soon after i finish uni. Even if it is just to rent out. - It's not looking very likely at the moment though. My parents bought their first house back in 1995 for 11k - See the bloody divide!!
I may have to buy a place in Bulgaria or some other crap european country :o(
