I'm for it, I think it's a good idea and it will be cheaper than sending them the gym!
Things like this can filter down to the kids as well, change the mums and dads to change the kids!

I don't find myself feeling that I could really support this kind of thing. It's hardly an essential health service. And the other thing is, how much weight is someone going to lose by doing a bit of dancing, abseiling, or kite flying? I'd suggest that it's more important to get obese people to look at their diets primarily, then increased activity should be a secondary consideration (and in lines with research, activity needs to be strenuous and sustained to make any real difference, pissing about on a dancefloor, learning the waltz isn't going to really cut it)...

It would be great to organize this on a massive scale....with ballrooms in every town, they could then hire all those out of work musicians to play in the bands too. They could get Bruce Forsyth to present, run it as a competition and before you know it, we'd have Celebrity Fat Strictly Come Dancing Get Me Out of Here Club.....
