Following from Bens great idea, here is a thread for us guys that need to lose some bodyfat.
Somewhere we can help each other out on diet and training.
I'm in SB, at the start of the competition i weighed 14st 4lbs with a 39" waist over naval. My goal is to lose 9kg (around 20lbs) and get my bodyfat into the late teens (16-18 would be nice).
My current diet is:-
7am 40g Oats with 250ml water + Express Whey shake
10am 20g nuts + 1 apple
1pm Mackerel, sardine or chicken salad with cottage cheese + carrots
That is my diet on training days, on non training days i obviously don't have the pre or post workout meal and have my tea earlier at around 6pm. I might then have 50-100g of cottage cheese before bed though.
My weekend diet changes again and includes some cheat meals but it is alot better than what is was 6 months ago.
Surely the thread should be renamed the FatFighters thread!! Anyone for cake?! :-p
hehe
I'm tempted to agree with Ben! Where are all the fitness classes for fatties? The gyms and classes are mainly occupied by fit people, and fat people (like me?) can feel intimidated.
Any of your gyms offer fitness classes for fat people? I see a business / franchise opportunity here.
Had a real body blow this week, as I have stated in my own thread, in that my gym shuts at 6pm for the two holiday weeks. I don't get home until 6.15 so I'm struggling.
Have any of you had the Maximuscle email on how to stay 'lean' over Xmas? If not, follow this clicky

Look at my photos dude, I'm a fatty and I go to fitness classes. Some of those people who are now fit, were once fat. Even one of the instructors at my gym has lost about 8 stone...
Don't be worried by opinion because believe me, when you start dropping the pounds, your gym mates will be boosting your ego with compliments just as much as we will!
Gym communities are a lot friendlier and more welcoming than people think
