Lyrics from BBC News:
You're the first in my life
To make me think
That we might just go all the way
And I, want you to know we're all hanging on
They'll come and yes they'll try
To break us down
But we know that we'll never lose
If we keep moving forward and don't look back
Can find a link to the track in the BBC Radio Player?

As the MS official Embrace loon, I should comment ..... but unfortunately my work pc hasn't got media and the IT police get narked if we download stuff so my valued opinion will have to wait.
Not expecting it to be as good as "Three Lions" though.

Three Lions is unbeatable... should have just rereleased it as everyone is going to sing it anyway!

Heard it and thought it was awful!

I don't like it either.....pretty weak and weedy I thought. Disappointed in Embrace too....I used to like them but this is just sugary jumping on a commercial bandwaggon stuff.

It's absoluely terrible! Where's the catchy chorus to be sung from the terraces? It's just your bog standard plodding Embrace track.

Hmmm - I've heard it now and it's not as bad as I was expecting. Let's face it there are different options for songs and they've gone for the musicly credible one (if slightly boring) with a nice tune, but and - let's be frank - one that is not going to be chanted on the terrace's. I saw some sunday morning news programme and Tony Christie was saying that the melody's good but it's just not a fan song.
BTW - he's redone Amarillo .... again.
There's other songs out:
Who do you think you are kidding Jurgen Klinsmann? (sung to Dad's Army)
Stand up for England
and some others
