Well that's been money well spent. Obviously it's better than wasting it on something like helping the people of New Orleans during times of crises or feeding the homeless.

Still, it's not my country so I guess in a way it's not really my place to comment...

I think that the reason that there are so few posts on this is because it doesn't really come as a surprise.
Everyone (apart from Bush and B-liar) knew that it was going to be a monumental expensive f*ck up!

I could have sold Dubya a massive bag of nothing for half that amount, and it would have been a better waste of money. Plus I'd be living it up in the Caribbean at the moment.

That's such a big number it almost doesn't mean anything! But like the others said, I think we are all so jaded and cynical that it doesn't mean much. They'd have to drop a nuke or something to really shock people now.
