I'd be interested to know why they decided this would be a good idea, why the chose to show soft porn films as opposed to mainstream movies, and who was consulted before this went ahead?
I'd also be interested to know who selected the films for screening since one person's personal choice is often another's turn off

I think it's a terrible idea, lots of sexual assaults happen to lone females on buses or at or near bus stops.....Bloody idiots!!!!

I agree it sounds like a pretty stupid idea.. and I'm sure you are right about where assualts happen LA given your job... but I'm not sure there's a direct correlation between the two things is there?
Good point LA - although in fairness most of these assaults happen where they're not showing any soft porn films and the evidence is very dubious showing a direct link between porn/assault.
However, I think it is a symptom of a wider issue in society. I suspect when they say soft porn they're not going to be showing gay porn or porn for women. It's going to be heterosexual soft porn which is going to make a lot of people feel uncomfortable and unwelcome in public spaces - even if they do like seeing such imagery within their own homes.
Again it brings me back to wondering who thought it was a good idea and why they decided to do this.

Depends what reports you read, I'm guessing HPA reports. However crime stats shown by SCD reports show a direct link between drugs, porn and an increase of sexual assaults at night. I think it is foolish.
