I can't stand avatars - each post becomes ridiculously huge with a signature and some silly gif animation, and it takes forever to scroll down a page!

A dictionary and grammar thing like on MS works.

no! not like dumb ones on other sides, a small and tidy one of the right or left, no sigs. it makes the page more colourful and allows us a bit more customisability! (SP?)

Avarters, if smallish and to the side would be ok, not a fan, but not bothered by time
widening the page width would be the main thing, especially for articles and reviews ect, they a bit squashed.. not really a feature though, just a design thing

Nice one, knew I could count on you all.
Bill, can you give me a bit more detail on yours - not sure what you'd like us to do
Avatars - we want to do them but make them optional
Dictionary - we had one and not sure what happened to it. I'll find out
Page widths - god yes, every page on the site will be the same width as the boards
If anyone wants a sneak preview of what we're doing - so that's seeing designs, testing stuff out when we start building - then email me. Ta, W

use firefox, it has a dictionary thing in it, and underlines your mistakes in red

I think it was taken out a while back after it clashed with something else. We can look at putting it back in though

top features for me would be:
- whole thread displayed in iframe (or ajax) when you post a reply
- improve board search engine so you have the option to search for a thread posted by a specific user
- design rather than feature as Matt said earlier - width of the board (and in other areas like answers and reviews)
