You soon will do, if Microsoft's plans to make it a default in their new IE7 browser come to fruition. Google's understandably hopping mad. Any comments?

I doubt that MS will be able to force you to use it. Surely people will have the option to use the tried and trusted Google search. Speaking of which, anyone ever watch CSI? Talk about Google placement! I lose count the number of times Google or Gmail are mentioned.

Another related nugget of news is that if you go to Google.com in IE7 a box appears asking if you want to replace MSN with Google as your default search engine.

Personally I've had a go with Search Live.com and it's crap! The results it finds are often weighted towards expensive software/large companies not necessarily the best results.

Their image search is quite cool (a bit slow, but hey, it's beta) though.
