You can already get auto parking on the Citroen C3.
If auto driving cars do happen then I wonder what would happen in the event of an accident? Would the car be to blame? What about drink drive laws?

The army have been using drive by wire for years, but it has it's problems. I like driving and would still like to drive myself as it's a great way to relax and enjoy yourself

or a set of traffic lights are not working. As no green light will appear, can the cars still move?

And I just checked the original post, 2030? What's that about? I expect to have several robot girlfriends by 2030 (AI optional), and also be able to teleport around the universe. If the best they can do by then is cars that can drive themselves the future looks set to be pretty lame, IMO.
