thank goodness ... it's not a disaster ...
I loved Employment and this is a step forward although not a massive one.
Ricky whatsisface has had singing lessons from the sound of this and the sound is altogether a bit more polished and less laddish.
I don't think it will shift in the same numbers as Employment but that doesn't mean it's not as good.
Ruby was a good choice for the lead single but then it's straight into the more introspective stuff. The Angry Mob is probably the closest they'll get to doing 'politics'
And there is lots of the usual lyrical jesting throughout
I've still to give it all a really good listen but so far it's a thumb's up from me
